UNITE
The Unite Program provides unit leaders flexibility to develop and deliver recreational and cohesive activities, to strengthen the bond between members and build resiliency within the unit. All assigned Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, and Civilian (APF and NAF) members, are authorized funds for CY23.
Types of Events
READY-TO-EXECUTE
Pre-approved and easy to implement. Consider using FSS related programs to maintain funds on the base.
UNIT DEVELOPED
Events in the local area with a cost. Must be approved by Air Force Service Activity which can take up to 10 days.
VOLUNTEER
Charitable work is cost effective and enables co-workers to work together as a team in a different environment while making a big impact in the community.
VIRTUAL
Interactive events in virtual environment that aim to create a similar experience as physical events.
Funding Allocation
$13.50 per person for unit cohesive activities and $5.00 per person for food and non-alcoholic beverages. The Unit is responsible for any costs that exceed the allotted amount.
Unite funds cannot be used to augment end of year holiday parties on or off base. Funds can be combined with other unit funds to offset the cost of the activities.
Getting Started

- Unit Commanders select someone to serve as the Unite contact and send their information to the Community Cohesion Coordinator (C3), Courtney Cann.
- Unite contacts schedule a conference call with the C3 to discuss the program, funding, forms, program guidelines and event ideas.
- When a unit is ready to host an event, the Unite contact submits an Event Request Form to the C3.
The approval process may take up to 7 days. - Once the event is approved by AFSVC, the Unite contact can proceed with the event.
Ready to Execute Events
Bring your unit to Hanscom Lanes to experience one of the most popular recreational pastimes. Package includes 2 hours of bowling and shoe rental.
Golfers and non-golfers alike can enjoy the Patriot Golf Course for positive reinforcement of teamwork. Voted multiple times as “Best U.S. Military Small Golf Course.”
Experience the beautiful Fourth Cliff Recreation Area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Includes kayaks, paddles, trailers, personal flotation devices, volleyball set, and coolers.
Try a great biking trail. Tickets & Tours has you covered with a 3-hour tour at one of the many nearby historical locations. Bike/helmets are provided.
